SOLA SARA FOR PRESIDENT 2028

If Vice President Inday Sara Duterte is impeached, I will boycott the 2028 elections. Period. For me, there is simply no alternative who can replace her. I believe Sara Duterte has already demonstrated that she is a capable executive leader. She is a lawyer by profession, having graduated from San Sebastian College of Law in 2005 and passing the Bar Examination in the same year.

As Mayor of Davao City, she helped transform the city into a debt-free local government and one free from NPA insurgency. During her leadership, Davao became the country’s eighth richest city, the fourth most competitive highly urbanized city, and remained consistently recognized as one of the safest and cleanest cities in the Philippines. To me, this reflects her ability to manage a large local government while maintaining public order, fiscal discipline, and economic growth.

In the 2022 national elections, she received more than 32 million votes, or about 61 percent of the total, making it the highest number of votes ever received by any candidate in Philippine election history.

Her public support has remained strong in subsequent surveys. Among Filipinos aged 18–24, her satisfaction rating reached 61 percent in June 2026, with a net satisfaction rating of +41. A Social Weather Stations survey conducted from June 20–29, 2026 recorded a 58 percent satisfaction rating, 26 percent dissatisfaction, and a net satisfaction score of +31. She also emerged as the leading presidential preference in a nationwide Pulse Asia survey conducted from June 28 to July 3, 2026, receiving the support of 49 percent of respondents. For the past three years, the Office of the Vice President under her leadership has consistently received among the highest trust, approval, and satisfaction ratings in various national surveys.

The Office of the Vice President also implemented several large-scale social service programs that benefited millions of Filipinos, particularly those in underserved communities. Nearly three million commuters benefited from the Libreng Sakay program, while more than 1.08 million trees were planted through the Pagbabago: A Million Trees Campaign. Over 603,000 students received school and dental kits, more than 535,000 families received disaster relief assistance, over 271,000 individuals received medical assistance, and the R.I.I.C.E. Program served more than 231,000 beneficiaries. In addition, over 64,000 families received medical and burial assistance, while more than 4,400 entrepreneurs were supported through the Mag Negosyo Ta ’Day program.

The Commission on Audit also issued an unmodified opinion to the Office of the Vice President for four consecutive years from 2022 to 2025. An unmodified opinion is widely regarded as the highest audit opinion a government agency can receive, indicating that its financial statements were fairly presented in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

As Secretary of Education, she introduced several reforms aimed at improving the country’s education system. She launched the MATATAG Curriculum, which reduced the K–10 curriculum by approximately 70 percent to focus on essential competencies. She also approved a 30-day uninterrupted vacation for teachers, removed unnecessary administrative tasks to allow teachers to focus on classroom instruction, implemented a classroom decoration policy that eliminated non-essential requirements, launched the Telesafe Hotline for the anonymous reporting of abuse, and introduced Catch-Up Fridays to strengthen students’ reading and writing skills following the learning losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Commission on Audit likewise issued an unmodified opinion to the Department of Education in both 2022 and 2023, with the 2022 audit marking the first time in the department’s history that DepEd received this rating. DepEd received the highest approval ratings out of all government agencies when she was at the helm.

For these reasons, I believe Sara Duterte has demonstrated the executive experience, leadership, and public service record needed to lead the country. Based on my assessment, there is no one else who matches her qualifications and track record. For me, there is no Plan B.

SARA DUTERTE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2028!
