Lessons the US/Israel/Iran war offers!

The cordial bilateral relation between China and our country, the Philippines, had been such because of the pragmatic view of then Pres. Rodrigo “Digong” Roa Duterte that we can not fight a nation like China, that a far better choice was to adopt a foreign policy of “Friend to all, enemy to no one”. Thus, during his term, PH enjoyed a peaceful co-existence with our Asian neighbors, particularly China.

Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. took a totally opposite path. After a red carpet reception in China, his statement in the United State shocked many. “I can’t imagine the Philippines without America.” It says a lot of what the Philippines has become.

What did the US of A promise Marcos? What did PBBM offer America in return? We can only speculate. But major events that followed point to a few vital issues that are reasons enough for great worries.

The first salvo was probably the South China Sea issue. The issue of who owns the small islands had not been as hot as it is today. Lateral and multilateral talks and negotiations among Asian neighbors was working and is working, I suppose. But US manipulations change everything. We are now a country under the thumb of the United States of America.

Granting more EDCA sites has not been enough. The old airport of Lumbia has been converted into something nobody, not even our government is aware of. Why, because the area is restricted to anyone but exclusive only to US personnel.

True or not, the story of US personnel leaving Lumbia worries me. It’s more scary than knowing there are Americans inside. It gives me the creeps that something has been installed that are remote controlled, like missiles. I bet we all understand the implication.

Now, they are planning to put up a naval base within the Phividec area. They already have chosen an area. I hope that steel plant the DND closed won’t be part of the whole facility.

The 4000 acres in Luzon dubbed as an Economic Security Zone is another agreement without congressional imprimatur. Though it is cloaked in various economic benefits, we may never know the real intents.

In a controlled media, with the cooperation of the mainstream media much like in the US, the Filipino people are made blind to the realities that are happening outside and inside of the country.

What is it like to be a US puppet if not a new colony? Our country is being shaped into a launch pad for US missiles in a possible confrontation with China, a war that we’re not supposed to be part of but a product of US manipulation against China.

We have seen it in Ukraine war with Russia, the Middle East and now Iran.

NATO and US have been warned by Russia regarding the inclusion of Ukraine as member of their alliance. With Ukraine as NATO member, the West can easily install missiles aimed at Russia. That is not acceptable to Russia. It is going to be a constant threat to Russian security. Thus, the war that lasts until today.

Many Middle East nations are host to US military bases and facilities. The number is, alas, quite big. With Iran’s war with US, these nations are fair game. They are now being bombed by Iran for reasons everybody understand.

The old Lumbia airport, the proposed naval base in Tagoloan/Villanueva, the so-called 4000 acres Economic Security Zone, are they not targets for retaliation in case war breaks out?

People of Cagayan de Oro, Tagoloan, Villanueva, in Luzon and all those that host EDCA sites, your silence is deafening. Is it because you are not properly informed or is it because our mainstream media are complicit to the whole agenda.

Ang katahimikan ba ay nangangahulugang handa tayong mamatay para sa America?

Cagayan de Oro would be in danger in the future.

Tagoloan and Villanuea would also be targets. Phividec will slowly lost their locators one by one. And this is just Misamis Oriental. How about the rest of the country with EDCA sites?
