Some months back, I wrote about the US-funded biolab projects being conducted in U.P. Los Baños and posed the same questions now being raised by the Makabayan party list representative in Congress. It’s about time these questions are asked once again as there is a global review of the U.S. biowarfare programs and its links to the Covid 19 pandemic as triggered by the 2022 studies of global truth advocate Jeffrey Sachs in Lancet, the foremost medical journal.
Jeffrey Sachs is fully convinced that the U.S. has been the center of experiments with “dangerous pathogens”, citing the work of Dr. Ralph Baric of the University of North Carolina on “gain-of-function research” leading to the creation of “super-viruses.” Dr. Baric’s team was in close coordination with the USAMRIID (United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) and co-owns the patent on manipulation of coronavirus genome.
People can watch the several interviews by Jeffrey Sachs on the Lancet findings. One unambiguous conclusion that Sachs reports is that the Wuhan market is definitely not the source of the virus and that the U.S. must open up its laboratories for investigation if the source is to be ascertained. The U.S. has continued to oppose any investigation of the many sites where virus experiments are being done; instead, it insists on pointing to others.
US bioweapons research has had a long history, going back to the immediate aftermath of the Second World War when the U.S. recruited Nazi and Japanese biological warfare scientists to work in U.S. programs. History shows that the U.S. exempted Japanese biowarfare wrongdoers from the war crimes trials and covered up wartime atrocities in exchange for the latter’s knowledge and records, and then used the Japanese biowarfare experiments in its own programs.
Initial suspicions of a U.S. biowarfare program saw unambiguous confirmation in the early months of the Ukraine War when Russia found 30 US-funded biolabs that experimented with a collection of lethal pathogens. Western media called it Russian disinformation and until US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, her eyes shifting nervously, admitted that “Ukraine has biological research facilities (facile euphemism) …” in a congressional hearing.
Nuland added, “… we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of… We are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces…” As Fox reported, “Russia’s assertion that President Biden’s son Hunter was ‘financing … biological laboratories in Ukraine’ was based on truth, according to e-mails reviewed by The Post.”
People may wonder why the U.S. would be suspected of such dastardly intentions. My answer is that there exists a racist core in Western civilization that has persisted throughout the centuries and continues to this day, as evidenced in the US-NATO hostility to Slavic Russia in the Ukraine War and the use of Nazi-shock troops in the assault against Russian-speaking populations of Ukraine. White Supremacism continues to lurk in the background of Western geopolitics.
We can also see the ugly head of racism rear up in the U.S. surge of anti-Asian discrimination and violence throughout the past two years of Covid-19 prejudice, including former President Trump’s “Kung Flu” and “China virus.” Filipino immigrants are not spared the discrimination and racist violence of countless “kababayans” who are mistaken for “Orientals” (which they really are) and beaten up.
All these provide solid bases for Filipinos to be suspicious of U.S. involvement in supposedly-innocent biolaboratories, involving themselves in rice genome studies and experiments where the information that is generated can be used by the U.S. for untold purposes that are inimical to the original intent of the projects and used against the welfare of the Filipino people. Indeed, investigations should be conducted on these developments.
The party list group in congress “… urged the House of Representatives to investigate the presence of foreign-funded laboratories in the country, including animal disease facilities financed by the United States’ Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), to ensure that there are no covert military objectives…” The DTRA is a support agency countering weapons of mass destruction, such as chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosives, under the US Department of Defense (DoD).
One such project is the Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (RADDL) in Tarlac City, funded by the DTRA to the tune of $643,000 and turned over to the Department of Agriculture (DA) in September 2020. Its overt aim is to boost the Philippines’ biosecurity efforts against transboundary animal diseases. But who knows what is the hidden agenda of the U.S.? Even the Lyme and African Swine Fever disease, which hit Cuba is believed to have come from a U.S. biolab on Plum Island.
The investigation of Covid-19 (SARS-COV-2 variant) must go from December 2019 back to mid-2019 in the U.S. and focus on three phenomena, the 2018-2019 “strange flu” season with 29 million flu illnesses and 28,000 flu deaths in the U.S., the strange vaping deaths in the April of 2019, and the Covid-19 infection of Mayor Michael Melham of Belleville, New Jersey who firmly believes he contracted the virus in November 2019 in his city.
Investigations should also visit Barcelona, and likewise in Italy and Brazil, where the Covid-199 virus was found in sewage samples in March of 2019,. In France, the first test case confirmed by RT-PCR was December 27, 2019. In the US, CNN reports that “Frozen blood samples indicate people in five states – Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Mississippi and Massachusetts – were infected with the coronavirus days or weeks before any cases were officially reported in those states…” and as early as December 2019. The WHO panel, which cleared the Wuhan Institute of Virology, has promised to carry on its investigation into other countries reporting Covid-19 presence in 2019, but U.S. pressure has stopped this from being carried out. The U.S. holds a lot of secrets about biowarfare, including the mystery story of Covid-19 being brought by a US military team to the Wuhan military games in October 2019.
