In Africa, at least there is one like Capt. Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso who inspires other leaders to be like him, serving his people, his country and make it free of foreign intervention and exploitation.
The youth of Africa is waking up to the reality. Africa is for Africans, its natural resources and its territorial integrity. Those who have ruled long enough, most only enrich themselves but the people, should now consider handling over the seat of government to the more idealistic youth and not wait for them to take up arms.
While Burkina Faso is entering a new age, ridding itself of their colonial past, we are going through a rebirth of colonial mentality.
While Traore nationalized the mining industry and keep their gold to themselves, he made education and health services free for the people. He revolutionized farming to make their country food sufficient.
Here, we sell our gold not knowing where the proceed went. Strange as it is, I still have to heard it from our politicians this question, “Saan napunta ang pera?”.
France, US and Israel want to get their hands on the gold of Burkina Faso but got one simple reply from Traore, “Come and get it.”.
Were our gold sold or given as payment to a superpower or
“pinaghati-hatian na ng mga magnanakaw sa gobierno”?
A Captain rules Burkina Faso. We can’t even find a good General as of this moment, to rise and protect the people. Most choose to protect the plunderers in our government and the ordinary soldiers could only obey orders, no matter how wrong.
Jun Abines has come to the point of exasperation. And like I said repeatedly, “If we are not prepared to die, don’t prepare for battle.”
March, September, October, they only looked like it but never it. And we all know why. Read Jun Abines again.
Meow, meow, meow, out of nowhere, this sound electrocuted dull and passive minds to life. Down to earth with his statements, his colleagues accused him of not being sane. But he inspires and a few follow. Are they the seeds to resurrection? My answer to Barzaga, “Meow, meow, meow”. May your tribe increase.
Gibo Teodoro, a Maltese, answered when asked, “:What can the military do?” Whatever, at least they would be siding with the Filipino people, not the Americans.
As for Brawner, I still believe he will one day do a Angelo Reyes.
If this three big events come to pass without success, then the recolonization of the Philippines is just a matter of time, if we are not in it already. Perhaps, my friend Phons A would then tell me this, “I told you so!”
What lies ahead is one choice that we all must make, “Kakampi mo ba ang taong bayan o kalaban?”
Mabuhay ang Pilipino!
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
