2023 Betrayal; 2024 Return of Sovereignty

ACPSSII Yearend Assessment and New Year Vision

2023 was the year of betrayal by BBM of the ideals of President Ferdinand E. Marcos (FEM), Sr. who had instituted the early steps towards genuine independent foreign policy – establishing ties with major powers outside of the traditional colonial overlord, the U.S., cutting short the tenure of the U.S. military bases and combatting oligarchic rule with nationalization of public utilities.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte re-invigorated the nationalist program of President FEM, reversing 30-years of the US-imposed neo-liberal, oligarchy-centered EDSA Uno society.  In turn, Duterte’s re-invigoration was reversed when BBM supported the decision of the Supreme Court for the extension of the EDCA bases and rejected “strategic cooperation” with China in favor a new vassalage under the U.S., thus submitting to the diktats of U.S. hegemonic designs.

Eleven months after BBM sprung his betrayals on the nation, evidence has surfaced of the US-BBM conspiracy to cheat in the 2022 elections, subvert Philippine sovereignty, and attempt to restore US hegemony in Asia. The US-BBM tandem launched destabilization, division, and conflict in the country and the region to lead to war similar to Ukraine, to abort the rise of the Asian Century. They are doing so by triggering an economic Armageddon similar to what faces Europe in the wake of the Ukraine war.

The exposé of the BBM-Smartmatic collusion is now on record; as well a the public admission of US military sources of its plot to provoke Philippine-China tensions through the US Naval Intelligence operations “Myoushu Project” and “Forward Operating Base Sierra Madre.” These moves, in collaboration with the Albert Del Rosario Institute (ADRI) and Stratbase, BBM’s top security, coast guard and defense agencies have been laid bare for all to see.

America’s Project Myoushu and the Philippine’s Atin Ito Coalition is gearing up for a proof of concept that may lead us to war

IT’S TIME TO BUILD COMBINED FORWARD OPERATING BASE SIERRA MADRE

“Myoushu Project” team leader, US Air Force ex-colonel Raymond Powell has been in lockstep with Commodore Jay Tarriela of the Philippine Coast Guard in all the misadventures – from the PCG’s many  provocative actions, to the attempted deliveries of construction materials to the BRP Sierra Madre in violation of a Philippine-China agreement, to now Phase II of the “Atin Ito” politicized and Yellow-tainted civil society and EDSA Uno elements.

The US-BBM tryst shifted the country towards the misdirection of “external defense”, the US pressures the country’s politically and economically blackmailed elite to widen ”democratic space” for domestic insurgents to reactivate: the ballyhooed return to the International Criminal Court, the return human rights chatter, to the comedic peace talks with dead “red” groups and revival of separatist terror gangs. It’s a stark reminder of how the US destabilizes “allies” to use in its global chaos agenda.

ASEAN and its 9 sane members are wise to the ways of US hegemonism:  Singapore’s PM Lee Hsien Loong  asks the Philippines if “want to… be the battleground.” The admonition came right before Vietnam upgraded its relations with China, which came at the heels of that nation’s rejection of an anti-China alliance offered by the U.S. The tenth ASEAN member, the Philippines, is the now the pariah of ASEAN for its insane dalliance with the US’s strategy of tension and chaos.

The Philippines is on the brink of an economic precipice, driven by the frenzied corruption of “rats preparing a ship to sink” with its progressive alienation  from the World’s economic engine China. Even as China continues to push the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with the Philippines, keeping alive the three major rail projects in Mindanao, North and South Luzon which the BBM government continues to unilaterally terminate by megaphone.

Still, China has also just donated the P 3.5-billion Bucana Bridge in Davao, as it continues contemplates the Cagayan Gateway projects proposed by Governor Manuel Mamba. Moreover, inasmuch as the Chico River Dam irrigation project is now enriching the harvest of 10,000 farming families, a delegation from the Province of Kalinga called on ACPSSII to seek assistance on pushing the second phase to benefit from hydroelectricity and irrigation from Phase II.

Verily, such delays, similar to the “suspended” giant railway projects, are crippling the nation’s economy.

It is against this sad backdrop that Filipino politicians are falling all over themselves to grandstand with anti-China rhetoric that are unconscionably aired by the sickening, brainless mainstream networks – the Salim group’s in particular, and its other pro-U.S. media all too willing to conspire in pushing the West Philippine Sea “Atin ito” narrative when Salim “Amin ito” Pangilinan actually offered Spratlys to China in 2013 in exchange for Recto Bank.

Mindless political ducks are quacking nonsense, calling for the “boycott of Chinese products” and “declare Chinese Ambassador persona-non-grata”  without considering the consequences. Hence, our tourist industry has lost the potential earnings from two million Chinese tourists even as the country’s largest malls say “China Feud May Hurt Businesses”, which means hurting millions of Filipino consumers. At the same time, Mindanao exporters dread a repeat of the 2012 rotting fruits.

As Project Myoushu fails to intimidate the Chinese Coast Guard and Chinese volunteer fishing vessels from exercising their sovereign control of the Ayungin and Scarborough shoals, the hacks shift to Phase II with their “Atin Ito” Christmas convoy of 40 ships and fishing boats, only to quickly abort when mere water cannons inflict damage to their two PCG boats. With the Project Myoushu money in their pocket already, the call to retreat was easy.

Their never-say-never spirit to fill the pockets will again rear its ugly head come Valentine’s Day 2024, as the National Security Council considers another “new” approach.

Even as U.S. Ambassador MaryKay Carlson, along with half-a-dozen of its allies, protested China’s sovereign control exertions, the global and Filipino social media community were one in saying, “Talk is cheap; where are your ships beside the Philippines boats?” If they even had half a brain, did the U.S. minions in the Philippines believe that the U.S. meant anything else than “fighting to the last Filipino”? As columnist Bobi Tiglao said recently: “Military, Coast Guard turning PH into world’s laughingstock.”

All told, in the eleventh month of Project Myoushu, the farce has been laid bare: No more than 7% of Filipinos believe in the “moro-moro” of the U.S.-BBM tandem, alongside the Tarriela-Malaya-Carpio cabal. Inversely, 93% of Filipinos want answers to the economic woes of the country: from inflation of basic food and utility costs, to the lack of jobs, skyrocketing crime and corruption, and the return to combatting internal threats and terrorism (by U.S.-backed communists and their political fronts).

January 1, 2024 will usher in the expansion of the BRICS economic alliance. This grouping will soon represent almost 50% of the global population, 37% of global Purchase Power Parity GDP (as against the G7’s 30%), and 42% of the world’s energy supply. With China and Russia at the helm, the major goal of expanding trade in local currencies, also known as de-dollarization, will move into high gear. And, with it, the U.S. will begin 2024 with imminent economic-financial collapse and political turmoil.

As BBM relies on the backing of the US, just as Zelensky did in Ukraine’s decade of tension with Russia – BBM will suffer the same fate of Zelensky when the US fails to deliver on its promises of defense, and especially economic and financial benefits to the Philippines. The US military bases and supplies will not fill hungry food tables of the nation. The US-backed fascist initiatives of the Philippine Congress, mainstream media and BBM’s national security establishment will falter even more in 2024.

The DDS backlash against U.S.-BBM dictatorial attempts is just beginning. So, too, is the growing dissatisfaction and disillusionment among elements of the retired Philippine armed services, as evidenced by the PMA alumni statement against Congress’ detention of two SMNI broadcasters.

There is no solution the BBM regime can offer to lower food prices, no remedy to the rising crime wave, and certainly no stopping the crescendo of corruption, as glaringly seen in the half-a-trillion unprogrammed budget for BBM.

We see a mounting of the seismic pressures underneath the Philippine social and political-economic volcano that the U.S., BBM, and their cohorts in the corrupt legislature and national security establishment cannot avert from exploding within months after New Year’s Day 2024. We pray that the nation stays peaceful and calm through the challenges ahead, even as it must be ready to welcome reform and change to the political order and direction of the nation.

Beginning 2024 we see a return to Philippine Independence, Sovereignty and the Path of the Asian Century. Major changes in the U.S. will foreshadow changes in the Philippines. The international situation will see greater and greater isolation of the U.S. and its allies in the West as its Eastern vassals consider greater distance from the declining power. Then the Philippines can rejoin the BRICS Plus, the G-77 and ASEAN towards the Community of Shared Future for Mankind.
